Perry Mill Wharf,

A new 7,700 square foot waterfront restaurant building is being constructed at the historic Perry Mill Wharf to host private events, regattas, and seasonal events such as the annual Oyster Festival and the Newport International Boat Show. The building is constructed on steel H-piles above the 100-year flood elevation. The piles are designed for an ultimate capacity of 145 tons.

 

FR Engineering provided pile inspection services, which included overseeing the Pile Dynamic Analysis (PDA) program and the production pile installation to ensure the piles were installed according to the specifications provided by the engineer of record for the project.

 

The new building is currently under construction as of July 2025.
